Greystones Dart Station to see improved services for disabled passengers

I have received confirmation that Greystones Dart Station is to reduce the notification period for disabled passengers to access services.

I recently raised the issue of the provision of services at Greystones Dart Station with David Franks, the CEO of Irish Rail. He has confirmed that disabled passengers will now have to give 4 rather than 24 hours’ notice. While not perfect, this is a significant improvement in services, and I will continue to push for parity for disabled users.

Greystones Tidy Towns and Iarnród Éireann are doing amazing work in terms of upgrading the station at the moment, I am delighted to see that this is being mirrored by an upgrading of the service.
